The
Boat trip from Mpulungu to the lodge takes about 30mins, in good
weather. Transfers cost K 380,000 for a round trip. The boat is
capable of carrying 8 adults plus luggage. Vehicles are parked
with no charge, at Mpende Fisheries (old "Samaki Fisheries") to get there you drive on
past Caltex, continuing with the main road
until
you see Uncle Pete’s Enterprises on your left . Turn left on the
dirt road and continue all the way to the bottom to a big black
steel gate. Inform the watchman you are for Isanga Bay Lodge.
The
road to the Lodge is under construction at the moment and not
